Shorttrack Skates: Engineered for Speed and Agility

Shorttrack skates are rapidly gaining popularity, thanks to champions like Sjinkie Knegt and Suzanne Schulting. These skates are exceptionally robust, designed to handle significantly higher forces than regular skates. Shorttrack boots are notably stiffer and higher than other skate boots, providing the essential support needed for this dynamic sport. Beyond complete shorttrack skates and boots, we also offer a range of shorttrack frames.

The unique design of shorttrack skates

A shorttrack ice rink is just 111.11 meters long, nearly four times shorter than a long track, meaning the turns are much sharper. Shorttrack skaters often lean so intensely that their fingertips skim the ice! Consequently, shorttrack skates are built to withstand immense forces. Crucially, a shorttrack skate does not feature a clap mechanism.

To navigate the much sharper turns of a shorttrack oval, the blades of shorttrack skates are positioned angled and off-center from the skate itself. Additionally, the skate blades are slightly curved, ensuring you always have sufficient grip, even through the tightest corners. Furthermore, shorttrack boots are much stiffer, providing even more support in these demanding turns.

Skate safely!

Beyond having excellent shorttrack skates, it's vital to have proper skate protection. We offer a variety of protective gear, including arm and leg pads, skate helmets, cut-resistant gloves, and cut-resistant shin and knee protection, ensuring your safety as you push your limits on the ice.
